Terms of Service
Effective: 3 November 2026 · Version 2026-11-03. These terms are between you and UtsavOne.
Who can use UtsavOne
You must be 18 or older. By creating an account you confirm this and accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.
The service
UtsavOne is a planning tool. Amounts, statements and reports are based on what your family enters. They are not tax invoices or official receipts and are not issued by vendors.
Your account and recovery key
Keep your recovery key safe. Because your event content is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot recover it if you lose your devices and your recovery key.
Family members
Event owners decide who joins, their roles and what each member can see. Anything shared in an event can be seen by its members and kept on their devices; removing a member stops future access but cannot erase what they already downloaded. Only invite people who agree to join; they can accept, decline or block an invitation.
Personal data of others
When you add guests, vendors or family members, you confirm that you may record their details for planning the event. This data is end-to-end encrypted and visible only to the event's members.
Purchases
Family plans (Family 6, Family 10) are one-time purchases through Google Play that last one year from purchase and do not renew automatically. Buying the same plan again adds a year; switching to another plan starts a new year from the day of purchase, without refund of the remaining days of the old plan. Extra family members are bought on top of an active plan and end with it. Seats count members besides the owner across all events you own, and each pending invitation holds a seat. When a plan ends nobody is removed, but a family above the free limits (2 members, 5 events, 100 MyGuests contacts) can only view its events until it renews. Refunds follow Google Play's policies and our Refund & cancellation policy; a refunded plan or extra members end immediately.
Acceptable use
Do not use UtsavOne for unlawful content, to harass others, or to attempt to access other people's data or disrupt the service. Automated requests are rate limited. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Payments to vendors
UPI payments open your own payment app; UtsavOne does not process or hold money and is not responsible for payments between you and vendors.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings or as described at utsavone.app/delete-account.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, UtsavOne is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [city], India have jurisdiction. If you live in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
