Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective: 3 November 2026. Operator: UtsavOne.
What you can buy
UtsavOne is free to download and use (you + 2 family members, 5 events, 100 MyGuests contacts). Paid items, all bought once through Google Play and not subscriptions:
- Family 6 and Family 10: you + 6 or + 10 family members, unlimited events and MyGuests and more document storage, for one year from purchase. They do not renew automatically; the app reminds you before the end.
- Extra family members: added on top of an active plan (up to 50 in one purchase) and valid until that plan ends.
Buying the same plan again adds one year after the current end date. Switching to the other plan starts a new year on the day of purchase; the remaining days of the old plan are not refunded.
Payments
All purchases are processed by Google Play. UtsavOne never receives your card, UPI or bank details. Prices are shown in Google Play in your local currency, including applicable taxes.
Refunds
- Within 48 hours of purchase: request a refund directly from Google Play (Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history, or Google's refund page).
- After 48 hours: write to hello@utsavone.com from your account email with the Google Play order number (GPA.…). We review every request and refund in full when the purchase did not work as described, was made by mistake, or was charged more than once.
- Approved refunds are issued by Google Play to the original payment method, usually within 3–5 business days (bank timelines may vary).
What happens after a refund or when a plan ends
A refunded plan or extra members end immediately. When a plan ends or is refunded nobody is removed: if your family is above the free limits, everyone can still view your events, but changes and new invitations are paused until you renew or get back within the free limits. Extra members bought without an active plan are refunded automatically by Google Play within 3 days.
Cancellation
There is nothing to cancel: plans are one-time purchases and never renew automatically. You can stop using UtsavOne or delete your account at any time. Deleting your account does not by itself trigger a refund; request it as described above.
Your statutory rights
This policy does not limit your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or the consumer laws of your country, including the EU/UK right of withdrawal where it applies to digital content.
