Delete your UtsavOne account
UtsavOne is developed by UtsavOne. You can delete your account and data at any time, with or without the app.
In the app (fastest)
- Open UtsavOne and sign in.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon at the top of the home screen.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Before deleting, you can use Settings → Download my data to keep a copy.
Without the app
Email hello@utsavone.com from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my UtsavOne account”. We only act on requests sent from the account's own address, and we reply within 7 days to confirm.
What is deleted
- Your account, profile, preferences, devices and push tokens.
- Every event you own, with all its bookings, payments, expenses, contributions, guests, gifts, reminders, functions and documents — for all family members of those events.
- Your MyGuests list (all saved guests), including for family members you shared it with.
- Invitations to your events and MyGuests list.
- Your encrypted key backup and uploaded files.
You can also delete single guests, many guests at once, or whole events in the app without deleting your account. Files kept only on your phone (invoices, exports) are removed when you uninstall the app.
Deletion happens 7 days after the request, so a mistaken request can be cancelled by writing to us. After that it cannot be undone.
What is kept
- Records you added to other people's events stay in those events (encrypted), because they belong to that family's plan. Leave the event first if you want to stop seeing it.
- Purchase records (order ID, product, date) for up to 8 years where tax law requires it.
- Security and admin audit logs that mention your account ID for up to 3 years, then they are deleted.
